Light the candles to reveal numbers on the paintings, which are actually the code for the combination lock. In the first Layers Of Fear chapter you will come across a room with a candelabra, three paintings, and a chest with a combination lock. Scraps of love achievement It rings a bell Discover an echo from the past If you missed the photo memento, you can still get the achievement by picking up a hand-written letter discovered after you drop down through the floorboards near a fireplace, or any of the other memento collectibles later in the game. Open the left side and grab the photograph to unlock the achievement. The ring itself isn't the memento you need (that actually unlocks the “It rings a bell” achievement listed below). Head into the next room near the combination lock and you'll find a large cabinet with glass doors. One of the earliest can be discovered when you find the first locked combination chest containing a ring.
There are a wide variety of different mementos you can pick up throughout the game to unlock this achievement. This achievement unlocks as soon as you pull the white drape off your unfinished painting at the end of the game's first segment. Wanderer achievement It's covered up for a reason Get working on the Magnum Opus Unless you are going for a speed run and not exploring all the nooks and crannies, you'll probably get this one to pop not long into the second chapter. This one is simple to achieve as you'll get it just by exploring the mansion. You'll be doing a lot of turning in this game. Change your in-game sensitivity up to the highest it can go.It doesn't ruin the atmosphere in my opinion. I'd advise you to turn up the brightness more than the default, but not all the way up.I will list them as Word#1 = W#1, Memo#1 = M#1, Rat Drawing 1 = R#1 etc. Throughout this WT, I will list each collectible as soon as it appears during the story.There are 59 collectibles in this game.You can check collectibles in the Magnum Opus room on the wall and in the book on the cabinet.I will have a checklist for every single collectible on a later page.
